Our next end-of-year highlight is the most bittersweet day of the school year: graduation! Before our graduation ceremonies, the entire school gathers to cheer on and celebrate our graduates as they take one final, slow ride through driveline. Students and staff line the sidewalks with signs, smiles, and lots of loud cheering—a school-wide sendoff that’s loud, loving, and uniquely Aspen Ridge.
In the morning, our kindergarten grads kick things off—and they couldn’t be cuter. Their caps & gowns, proud little waves, and beaming faces are enough to melt anyone. It’s the perfect way to start the day.
Then, in the afternoon, our 8th graders take their turn. As they pass by for the very last time as Aspen Ridge students, we’re all a mix of smiles, cheers, and tears, sending them off with all our love and encouragement for their next chapter.
We’ll miss seeing this group of 8th grade grads walking our halls, sharing their bright ideas in our classrooms, laughing in the lunchroom, and growing into young adults right before our eyes. We hope they’ll come back to visit often—because once an Owl, always an Owl! 💚
