Rebecca Wild

Rebecca Wild feels lucky to have grown up living in many wonderful places, including Illinois, Alaska, Guam, Maine, and Washington D.C. because her dad was in the Navy for the first 15 years of her life. She has taken the long and, arguably, more exciting road to making a difference through being a teacher. Her bachelor’s degree is in Social Work from Concordia College in New York and after moving to Colorado she completed her teacher licensure through Metro State University in Denver. She then completed her Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction in Literacy from CU Boulder. Go, Buffs! As Rebecca begins her ninth year teaching at Aspen Ridge, she is excited to make the move from teaching third and fourth grade to taking on a new role as she moves to Middle School Intervention. She is excited to continue her passion of helping students enjoy learning as much as she does! Rebecca has been married to her wonderful husband, Ted, for eight years. They live in Longmont and enjoy walking their two dogs Rocket & Groot. .
