Last month, our middle school Owls took flight to Washington, D.C. for the trip of a lifetime. They walked for miles (and miles), visited all the iconic sights, and deepened their understanding of our nation’s history.

Of course, there was plenty of classic middle school trip fun—hotel pool hangouts, late-night snacks, and shopping for the quirkiest souvenirs they could find.

Are your Owls excited to find out who their teacher will be for the 2025-26 school year? Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade will receive a postcard in the mail revealing their teacher by Friday, August 8th. Students in 6th through 8th grades can view their teachers and schedules on Infinite Campus beginning on August 8th. One of our favorite May traditions is the epic 8th Grade vs. Staff Kickball Showdown, and this year the grads brought the heat—and the win—leaving teachers plotting their comeback and eyeing next year’s rematch!

Congrats to our brand new middle schoolers! It was so fun to celebrate them at Fifth Grade Continuation!

This May was extra special with not one, but two Field Days! K–5 students had a blast last week, and—for the first time ever—our middle schoolers got a Field Day of their very own, thanks to our amazing ARPS PTO!

Our Owls celebrated Erie High School grads with high-fives, hugs, and happy tears, as former students (and other EHS seniors) returned to cheers, smiles, and hugs from former teachers. Go, Tigers!

Huge congratulations to our amazing students who competed in the State National History Day competition this month! 👏 Aubrey Milburn, Chloe Osborne, Ella Dieterich, Riley Dowling, Mae Denner, and Ella Edwards spent months researching, designing, and perfecting their project—and their hard work truly paid off. They represented Aspen Ridge with pride, passion, and professionalism. We’re so proud of their dedication and accomplishments. Way to go, scholars!

After months of training and running, our Girls On The Run Club crushed their first 5K race! With every stride, they’re showing what it means to set a big goal, work hard, and keep going. Way to go, girls! ✨🏃🏽‍♀️✨

Thank you to all of the ARPS families that joined us for our last Dine-to-Donate fundraiser of the year! It was so fun to finish the year with an Aspen Ridge night at Sweets Ice Cream! Did you happen to stop by when our celebrity scoopers were behind the counter? Ms. Miller and Ms. Salmeron were happy to scoop for so many smiling faces!

Earlier this week we had three very special guest leaders ruling the school as Principal for a Day, Assistant Principal for a Day, and Dean for a Day. They observed classrooms in action, ran our fire drill, made special announcements, and did an all-around fabulous job in their roles. These owls have major leadership material! 💚
