Calling all budding chefs! A delicious new after-school adventure is coming to Aspen Ridge! Sticky Fingers Cooking Club will be offering a three-class mini session in December, followed by weekly classes beginning this spring. Students will mix, measure, and munch their way through hands-on culinary fun—no kitchen required! Each class blends cooking with global flavors, language, geography, nutrition, and STEAM connections. All ages, all abilities, and all food allergies are welcome.

Our students are celebrating Veterans Day by wearing red, white, and blue today. They also created special cards and messages for the veterans who gathered at Allegiance Ranch and Equine Rescue, Inc. for their Veterans Day celebration. Special thanks to ARPS alumni parent Roxy Snyder for helping us share our students’ appreciation by bringing our cards to these deserving local veterans each year.

Our Owl community is always amazing at coming through for those in need! Right now Erie Uplink needs lots and lots of socks to fill their November Tiger Packs! If you are able to pick up a package of socks this week, we would be so grateful! A donation bin will be in the front vestibule at the main entrance now through Monday, November 10th. We know our community can come through to help our neighbors in need!
Plus, stay tuned for details coming soon on the ARPS Caring Cupboard, an opportunity for all of us to care for each other when we're in need of some extra support. This will be a pantry of healthy snacks and non-perishable breakfast items that Aspen Ridge teachers can access when they have students who are hungry at school. Watch for info on how you can donate!

First, 11/13 is World Kindness Day! Help us celebrate by doing a random act of kindness and wearing an outfit with a positive word or message!
Next, on 11/14, K-5 dads can start their day spending time with their favorite Owls at Breakfast with Dad at 7:15am! RSVP here and join us for breakfast and great conversations!
It's also Go Blue for World Diabetes Day on 11/14! All Owls are invited to dress in blue and bring a donation for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation!
Finally, finish your Friday with an inspiring walk through luminaries created by students right here at Aspen Ridge (and other Erie schools) at the Hope & Gratitude Project. We would love a few volunteers to help us set up this event. Please sign up here!

Aspen Ridge will host its 5th Annual Middle School Science Expo on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 1:00–3:00pm. We’re looking for volunteer presenters to lead fun, hands-on workshops for students in grades 6–8!
If you (or someone you know) work in a science-related field and love inspiring curious young minds, we’d love to have you join us! Presenters will share interactive demonstrations, talk briefly about their careers, and spark excitement for future scientists.

Wow, what a weekend! We had such a fabulous time hanging out with our Aspen Ridge families and friends at Fall Fest. Huge thanks to our awesome PTO for putting this on, and to all the parents, NJHS students, and staff volunteers who made the day run so smoothly. We just love being part of a school community that feels like one big family. 💚

IMPORTANT REMINDER: There is NO PARKING on either side of Austin Avenue. Both sides have bike lanes, and the Town of Erie has asked us to refrain from parking on the street. As you may have noticed during recent driveline/pickup times, Erie Police Department is now enforcing this no-parking policy. Please either park in our parking lot or in our field to the east of school. Thank you for your flexibility and cooperation!
