Support ARPS by stocking up our PTO!
Our PTO has kicked off their annual Supply Drive and they'd love your help! Your donations allow our PTO to get the most out of their events so they can put their budgeted dollars where they really matter: the school! Check out their SignUpGenius to see what they need to support our teachers and students this year! Thank you! 💚

The link to the monthly lunch menu can be found in the Parent Portal under "Helpful Parent Links." The August menu is posted and ready for you to view!
Please note that lunch is free for all students again this year. Each morning, students must let their teacher know if they would like to order school lunch for that day. We will then submit our daily lunch order to the district, with no charge to the students.
You will also find an "Add Lunch Money" link in the Parent Portal. Lunch money is only needed if students are purchasing a second helping, if they would like to purchase milk on its own (without a full meal), or if they are purchasing an extra item outside of the main lunch meal.

Girls on the Run is back at Aspen Ridge! 🏃♀️ This 10-week club creates a welcoming space where 3rd–5th grade girls can build confidence, make friends, and learn tools to handle big emotions, navigate conflict, and reframe negative self-talk — all through fun lessons, movement, and yes…running too!
This club will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30–5:00pm, starting the week of September 8. Register today at www.girlsontherunrockies.org!

Want to skip some days in Driveline? Join Schoolpool!
If you’ve ever considered carpooling, this would be a great year to give it a try! (You don't even have to color-coordinate with your carmates, like these stylish recent grads did!) With the Town of Erie’s roundabout project making driving, walking, and biking to school a bit more complicated, it’s the perfect time to help reduce the number of cars in our driveline each day. Fewer cars mean less congestion—and it gives you a chance to dodge the driveline a few mornings each week. (Future you will thank you!)
Wondering where to get started? Sign up with Schoolpool to connect with other families interested in carpooling to Aspen Ridge. This secure system helps you find families in your neighborhood to share the responsibility of getting kids to and from school—whether by carpool, walking, or biking together. It’s a simple way to build community and lighten your load at the same time.
If you’re interested in joining SchoolPool and would like the registration link for Aspen Ridge, please contact Celine Todd at ctodd@arprep.org.

We love encouraging families to walk or bike to school when possible—it’s healthy, eco-friendly, and helps reduce driveline traffic. However, this year we’re especially concerned about students crossing at Austin Ave and County Line Road, due to ongoing construction. If you live west of the school and usually cross at that intersection, we strongly recommend driving your student until construction is complete.
If your student will be walking or biking from the west, please have them go north to the light at Erie Parkway and County Line Road to cross safely.
No matter how students get to school, please talk with them about:
Always using crosswalks
Slowing down—especially on e-bikes
Staying alert and avoiding distractions
Drivers, please remember to slow down, stay off devices, and be extra mindful near the school. It’s always better to be a little late than to risk someone’s safety.
We’re also excited to welcome Trooper Pratt from the Colorado State Patrol on Thursday, August 21. He’ll be on campus to talk with our kinder through 8th grade students about pedestrian safety. The goal is to give our Owls the knowledge and confidence to make smart, safe choices on our streets.

As we begin the new school year, ensuring the safety of every child is our top priority. Due to ongoing construction at County Line and Austin by the Town of Erie—and keeping in mind the continued growth of our school—we are re-routing driveline and implementing updated procedures for both morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.
We are actively working with the Town throughout the construction timeline, and while this plan reflects our best thinking today, some adjustments may be necessary along the way. If and when changes arise, we’ll keep you informed and do our best to make transitions as smooth as possible.
Please review the following carefully and help us keep driveline running smoothly, respectful of our neighbors, and, above all, safe for everyone. As we adjust to the new flow, we strongly encourage you to allow extra time in the mornings, extend grace to fellow drivers, and remember that the #1 priority is getting our students to and from school safely.

Parking procedures have changed for the 2026 school year, so we want to be sure all families know where parking is (and isn’t!) allowed.
Lloyd Lane is a private road. There is no parking allowed on Lloyd Lane at any time.
New this year, there is no parking on the north side of Austin Ave.
There is no parking allowed in neighboring business lots.
If you need to park, follow the driveline path to reach the designated parking area within our parking lot—do not attempt to bypass or reverse through driveline.
You may park on the south side of Austin Ave, but must use the crosswalk at Austin and Lloyd to cross the street.
Since parking is now limited during arrival and dismissal, we encourage families to consider using driveline instead of parking and walking up.
Coming soon: Overflow parking will be available for school events in the field to the east of our campus. Stay tuned for more info to come!

Sign-ups are now open for some of our fall after-school activities, with fun options for Owls of all ages! Use the links below to learn more or to register for anything that sparks your student’s interest. More activities are on the way (including 100 Mile Club and Middle School Girls' Volleyball), so keep an eye out for future sign-ups!

Our teachers are excited to meet their newest class of Owls for the 2025-26 school year! For our Meet the Teacher events on August 11th, please remember to:
Bring school supplies so your child will have less to carry on the 1st day of school.
Pick up your child's green folder with beginning-of-year info from your classroom teacher (homeroom teacher for our Middle Schoolers).
Visit our friendly Front Office staff to receive your Driveline number for the new year.
Stop by the PTO table to find out how to get involved, and pick up a new family welcome packet if you're new to ARPS!
Middle Schoolers and 5th graders, stop by the stage to demo an instrument if you're thinking of joining the band!
We're excited to see you on August 11th!

Ivy Camps does not provide before school care through their programming at this time, but Aspen Ridge is still interested in knowing which of our families would benefit from before school care. If you are one of the families needing support prior to 7:50am, please fill out the form below so that we are aware of how many children this may affect in order to provide a safe option that works for all.

We’re excited to welcome Ivy Camps USA to our ARPS community this fall!
Ivy Camps' programs are designed to spark curiosity, build real-world skills, and make learning fun, long after the school day ends.
With unique learning tracks and thoughtfully designed activities led by enthusiastic instructors, their programs encourage exploration, creativity, and collaboration—all in a supportive and engaging environment.
Learn more about Ivy Camps at Aspen Ridge here!

Join us in the ARPS parking lot on July 21, 22, and 23 to add some fresh finds to your student’s school wardrobe and help them start the year in style. 🦉💚

Of course, there was plenty of classic middle school trip fun—hotel pool hangouts, late-night snacks, and shopping for the quirkiest souvenirs they could find.
We love this tradition and are so grateful our students got to share in it together. Here’s to unforgettable adventures and the friendships that grow along the way. 🦉💚
