Preschool Program
Welcome to Aspen Ridge Preschool
At Aspen Ridge we recognize the importance of a quality early childhood experience for all children and value a strong partnership with families. We realize that children learn both at home and at school, therefore our program is family focused and facilitates child learning in all developmental areas (cognitive, language, physical and social emotional) and content areas (literacy, math, social studies, science, and the arts).
The purpose of the Aspen Ridge Preschool Program is to provide a high quality early childhood experience for your child in a safe, supporting and stimulating environment where children develop and progress in a fun, developmentally appropriate curriculum. One of the main goals of the preschool program is to instill the love of learning and prepare children for Kindergarten. Your child will participate in a preschool curriculum that promotes learning through play and discovery, as teachers support children's pre-academic progress while respecting the ways they grow and develop. Parental involvement is an integral part of the preschool program.
CLASSES OFFERED
Three-year-old children are busy and curious! Our goal is to channel these wonderful behaviors and guide them into a world of learning. The main goal of our preschool program is to instill the love of learning and practice pre-school skills (such as listening, following directions, self-regulation, and social interactions). Preschool 3's meets three times per week.
The 3-day class focuses on social interaction, language development, fine and gross motor activities. Class size is limited to 14. For the 2023-24 school year, preschool students must be three years old by September 1st, 2023. Students MUST be potty trained.
Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday
Mornings Only: 8:20am - 11:05am
Four-year-old children are ready to be independent and are becoming more aware of the world around them. Pre-K classes allow children to expand skills including independent decision making, beginning reading activities, writing, science, and math concepts. Children will learn to better manage social interaction and cooperative play, creating greater independence and preparing them for kindergarten. Our Pre-kindergarten program emphasizes instilling a love of learning while preparing students for Kindergarten. This includes continuing to practice and build school skills such as task persistence, working memory, and school day stamina.
For the 2023-24 school year, Pre-K students must be four years old by October 1st, 2023. Class size is limited to 16.
Parents have a choice between a morning OR afternoon sessions.
Pre-K Classes meet four days per week, Monday-Thursday
Morning Session: 8:15am - 11:00am
Afternoon Session: 12:15pm - 3:00pm
2023-2024 School Year Preschool Fees
Please note that Aspen Ridge Preparatory School is not participating in the Universal PreK Program as designed through the state of Colorado. If you are interested in your child participating in UPK, please visit the Colorado Department of Early Childhood website to learn more about how to participate and ways your family can benefit from this initiative.
Monthly tuition will be invoiced on the 1st of each month (beginning in September) and will be considered late by the 11th of each month. Fees must be paid on time to ensure continued enrollment in the program.
If necessary, fees will be prorated based on annual days attended, and not by month. If you choose to start the year by paying the annual amount in full, unused fee(s) will be returned in full if your student has to leave the program.
Aspen Ridge Preparatory Preschool Programs use an online platform called Sandbox to make payments via credit card. This is the same program you will use to sign your student in and out each day. Through Sandbox, you can view your balance, get attendance reports for spending accounts, and even set up our credit card so it is charged monthly without having to worry. Set it and forget it! If you aren't set up for automatic payments and would like to be, please contact the Business Office at the contact information below.
Fee assistance, reduced fee amounts, and deferred monthly fee payment plans are available to all families who have fallen on hard times. To avoid disruption in the enrollment of your student, contact the Business Office before the last day of the month fee(s) is due.
