Maria Reseigh

¡Hola búhos! “Hello Owls!” Señora Reseigh is extremely excited to be back in the Spanish room with all the students at ARPS this year. Sra. Reseigh earned her BA in Spanish Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her teaching credentials through the ASPIRE program from the University of Colorado at Denver. She also had a successful career as a Buyer in the Fine Jewelry industry, where she had the opportunity to conduct business around the world. She is of the opinion that learning another language is an integral skill that gives you the opportunity to connect with others in our diverse world.

Sra. Reseigh believes that learning a new language should always be fun, engaging and exciting. She also believes that education isn’t a one-size-fits-all endeavor and really strives to meet each individual student’s needs. In addition to returning as the K-5th Spanish teacher, Sra. Reseigh will also teach Middle School Spanish and Cultural Studies classes, where her enthusiasm and high expectations will help kids grow their knowledge in these areas. When Sra. Reseigh isn’t at school, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shuttling her two kids to their activities, traveling, going to CU sporting events (Go Buffs!), and playing sports.
